1970s basketball sneakers seem to be making a comeback and the PF Flyers team will not let others surpass them in the style they do best. The 2010 Sporting Life collection consists of smooth sneakers which either have; Italian Sequin and Printed leather, ripstop and ballistic Nylon, or full grain leather uppers. These are available now in sneaker retailers.

PF Flyers is proud to announce an update to an old favorite 1953 Center Hi. The Center Hi takes on a different look in a modern patent leather. It’s unique because as it molds, the upper will take on various different hues of colors which are revealed the more the hi-top is worn and how cool is that!
Two-versions are available in black-to-red color reveal patent leather and black-to-white color reveal patent leather. Price set at $110 USD.

One of the sneakers under the Saks Fifth Avenue x PF Flyers Lineup is the PF Flyers Center Hi which will make its debut this month. As for this unique sneaker, its upper is made up of thick patent leather while the sole has been built up with a thick rubber. The Black/White colorway will make its way first and it will be followed by the Maroon/White in the near future.

Dropping today at quintessential department store, Saks Fifth Avenue, is an exclusive line of sneakers named The Sporting Life, from vintage sneaker brand, PF Flyers. This collection arrived with the intention to be just in time for Father’s Day, and features six different exclusive models – Color Reveal Center Hi, Black Vantage, Metal Mesh Glide, Bob Cousy Lo, Sumfun and of course, the iconic Sportshu. The line comes in a variety of styles, materials and colors. One of our favorites, the Metal Mesh Glide features soft maroon satin outer with patent stripe and toe details. Some other simpler and less flashy styles include a low-top with a mix of black leather, grey cotton upper with yellow piping detail along the soles.

Originally released in 1968, the PF Flyers Windjammer is an authentic reissue from the brand’s archive. The summertime classic features clean lines and a vulcanized midsole–a design that resembles the deck/nautical designs of today. The shoe features white shoestrings and matching eyelets, details that refer to a more nostalgic time on the water.
